Feeding Your Bookworm To grow as a reader, children need to read. Much of third grade reading instruction typically shifts from learning to read TO reading to learn. Naturally, there will be some children learning to read fluently as they enter third grade while other third graders will be strong readers diving into more difficult novels and texts. Regardless of your child's place in this spectrum of ability, it is my goal to keep your child growing in his/her stage of reading development this school year. I also hope to provide a basis for your child to continue in reading development throughout his/her life.
